Timeless, classless always a joy there's nothing that signals it's Christmas more than the sight and smell of a freshly cut Christmas Tree!

Whether it's Spruce, Nordmann, Douglas fir no matter as they all evoke the same feeling "IT'S CHRISTMAS".
Our trees come with the added bonus that they are all locally grown, freshly cut with tiny carbon footprints, fully recyclable, sustainably grown and buying one from us will help support the local community, economy and employment and above all they are beautiful.

For too long now we have been buying trees from far-flung places, crazy really when you consider that we have the perfect growing conditions right here on our doorstep. Order yours from www.thecotswoldgoodlife.co today, or come and choose your own at your leisure, 7 days a week. We even offer free delivery within a 10 mile radius.

Freshly cut and local

When we decided to sell our Cotswold Xmas Trees, our purpose was clear we wanted to provide the best possible products that we could source, but they had to be locally farm-grown from a family business. Growing the trees here was an option that we considered but decided against because we wanted the experience that can only come from knowledge handed down through generations. We didn't want our decision making to be compromised by harsh commercial realities that this option inevitably brings. Lucky for us, we found the answer within our postcode!

A few good reasons why you should buy your tree from us

When you buy a tree from us, you can be safe in the knowledge your tree has been lovingly tended and cared for by neighbours within your community and that you are helping small local businesses grow and thrive. Let's face it you can probably buy cheaper from the large conglomerates (but not always!) Supermarkets or DIY sheds but there are many reasons why we think this is not the right decision:

In the majority of cases, trees purchased in this way are of inferior quality (B-Stocks) not the Premium field-grown examples that we provide.

These products are often imported and can spend many days and weeks in docks and in transit, stacked and packed in ways that generate enormous heat as the composting process begins! We have all seen or experienced the awfulness of unwrapping a tree that has completely browned. Last year I visited one such establishment and saw for myself the sad state of Christmas trees packed into a "cage" and parked in the entrance of a DIY shed. Yes, they were cheap, but I wonder how long they lasted before dropping their needles?

Reducing the Carbon footprint

There is no doubt in our mind that our customers are becoming very conscious of issues such as global warming buying locally grown trees must rank as one of the best and easiest ways that we can all do our bit. We can't think of a better way.

Our trees are cut fresh from the field never stored for longer than a few days before being sold so you can be sure that your tree will still look great when the big day arrives.

Merry Christmas from The Cotswold Goodlife Company
